ENMAX Energy Corporation
As Vice President, Forecasting & Market Structures, Chris oversees ENMAX’s market forecasting including electricity and natural gas price forecasting, trading analytics, and economic analysis. He is leading ENMAX’s transition to a capacity market and is participating in the AESO’s capacity market consultation. Chris is also responsible for commercial market services for ENMAX’s natural gas JVs and wind generation assets. Previously, Chris oversaw ENMAX Energy’s PPA assets and GHG marketing operations.
Prior to joining ENMAX in 2005, Chris was a senior market analyst at the Market Surveillance Administrator (MSA) and an energy economist at the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI).
Chris has taught economics at Mount Royal University and holds an MA in economics from the University of Calgary and has completed an MBA at Queen’s University.
