• Wheelchair access:
    • While the signs for KUF will point you to the side door, for wheelchair access you need to enter through the front door of the building on Concession Street. Greeters will be there to let you in, and, inside, there is an elevator that accesses all three floors of the building. (Services are on the top floor.)
    • We also have a single (rarely used) wheelchair available for visitors.
  • Washrooms:
    • We have a wheelchair-accessible, gender-neutral bathroom with a child changing table, but no adult changing table, on the middle/main floor. There are additional male/female stall washrooms upstairs.
  • Hearing and Vision
    • We have hearing assistive devices available each Sunday.
    • All speaking is done through a microphone.
    • There is a printed order of service and hymnals to read from, but lyrics for songs are displayed in large font on a projector at the front.
  • Children
    • For most Sunday services children who want to join in are invited to go downstairs for the second half of service for children’s programming.
    • We do not currently offer a separate calming room for children, although the kitchen area just outside the main hall is available during service.
    • If you have any concerns about accommodation for your child in children’s programming, please contact our Religious Exploration Coordinator at re@kuf.ca
  • Other
    • Seating for services is in individual padded chairs, some with arms and some without. If you need to stand there is space at the back.
    • Our building is a fragrance-free zone for those with chemical sensitivities.
  • If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility at KUF, please email office@kuf.ca
