Parker's life was forever altered when he was unexpectedly diagnosed with stomach cancer.
This life-changing news could have easily led to despair, but Parker's relentless positivity and the boundless love and support from his friends and family allowed him to maintain a joyful and hopeful outlook.
His journey through this challenging time highlights the remarkable strength of the human spirit and underscores the vital role that a caring and supportive community plays in the healing process.
We encourage you to watch the video below to get to know Parker, an extraordinary individual, patient, and donor whose story is truly inspiring.
At the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, our mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. Your generous donations are essential in helping us achieve this goal.
Together, we can continue to provide critical support to individuals like Parker and foster a healthier, more compassionate community.
Earlier this year Garry Kohn and the Hebrew Congregation of Lethbridge donated funds that went toward purchasing a OPMI Lumera Microscope for the CRH!
This cutting edge microscope allows medical personnel to visualize the structures of the eye to the smallest detail and in the correct physiological form.
It is ued for several types of operations – including gray and green cataracts, and corneal and retinal operations.
The CRH Foundation maintains a distincitve art mural located in the atrium of the Chinook Hospital
- this mural is a perpetual thank you to the community supporters who make our Hospital great.
Internationally acclaimed sculptor Alex von Svoboda created the initial design of the mural and today, members of the Old Man Potter's Guild continue to craft the legacy.
